Bing Cherries
are large, plump and juicy. Their glossy skins range from red
to almost black. Native to Eurasia, cherries arrived in North
America with the first English settlers. Look for firm, plump
cherries with green stems. Cherries are highly perishable, wash
cherries when ready to eat them. Keep cherries in a plastic
bag in the refrigerator, cherries can also be frozen for up
